Ski-Doo LinQ Bags Buyer's Guide: Tunnel, Deep Snow, Seat & Saddlebags — Which One Is Right for Your Sled?

Which Ski-Doo LinQ Bag Should You Buy?

Every snowmobiler has done it at least once: spare gloves stuffed down the jacket, a tow strap jammed under the seat, a granola bar in a pocket that turns into a granola brick by noon. It works right up until the day you actually need that stuff.

For most Ontario trail riders, the best Ski-Doo LinQ bag is a 20–30 L tunnel bag like the LinQ Trail Pro Bag (30 L) or the LinQ SR Tunnel Bag (21 L). Deep-snow riders should pick a narrow, lightweight Deep Snow bag, two-up riders are better served by saddlebags or a seat bag, and ice anglers and utility riders should look at a rigid LinQ cargo box, tool box or cooler. This guide walks the whole Ski-Doo LinQ bags lineup we stock, explains fitment for older and non-BRP sleds, and gives you a price band to plan around before the snow flies.

What Is LinQ, and Why Does It Matter for Snowmobile Storage?

LinQ is BRP's quick-attach accessory mounting system. A LinQ accessory clicks onto matching anchor points on your tunnel or rack and comes off again in seconds, no tools required. That means you can run a big tunnel bag for a weekend trip up north, then swap it for a fuel caddy or nothing at all for a Saturday blast around the local loop.

The same mounting standard is used across Ski-Doo, Can-Am and Sea-Doo, so several of the bags and boxes below do double duty on an Outlander rack or a Sea-Doo Switch in the summer. Most current REV Gen4 and REV Gen5 Ski-Doo sleds have LinQ mounting points from the factory. If yours doesn't, skip to the fitment section below; there's almost always a way to add it.

You can browse everything in one place in our Ski-Doo LinQ, racks, bags and storage collection.

Ski-Doo LinQ Tunnel Bags for Trail Riding

A tunnel bag mounts on the rear of the tunnel behind the seat. It's the workhorse of snowmobile storage and the first bag most trail riders should buy. On OFSC trails, where a day ride can easily cover a few hundred kilometres between warm-up huts, you want room for a spare belt, a tow strap, tools, a first-aid kit and an extra layer.

Ski-Doo LinQ Trail Pro Bag (30 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ 6 US Gal (30 L) Trail Pro Bag is our pick for riders who do long days or multi-day trips. It's one of the largest trail bags in the LinQ lineup and holds everything on the packing list above with space left for lunch. If you only buy one bag this season, this is the one to get.

Ski-Doo LinQ Slim Waterproof Tunnel Bag (26 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ Slim Waterproof Tunnel Bag (26 L) has a rigid bottom and top and a fully waterproof build. That matters more than you'd think in Ontario: early-season lake crossings on Lake Simcoe or Lake Nipissing often mean slush, and a water-resistant bag eventually lets it in. Choose this one if your phone, wallet and spare gloves ride in the bag.

BRP LinQ SR Tunnel Bag (21 L)

The BRP / Ski-Doo / Can-Am LinQ 5.5 US Gal (21 L) SR Tunnel Bag is a semi-rigid, expandable tunnel bag. "SR" stands for semi-rigid: it holds its shape when it's half empty but still has some give when you overpack it. It's a great middle-size option for REV Gen4 and REV Gen5 trail sleds, and it also fits LinQ-equipped Can-Am models.

Ski-Doo / Can-Am LinQ Sport Bag (17 L, Expandable)

The Ski-Doo Can-Am LinQ 4.5 US Gal (17 L) Sport Bag (860202895) is the compact, sporty option and one of the most versatile bags in the lineup. As of January 2026, BRP replaced the old 860202447 Sport Bag with this expandable version. This bag fits LinQ-equipped Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Can-Am off-road and on-road vehicles and Sea-Doo models, so it's a smart buy if you own more than one BRP machine.

Deep Snow Bags for Backcountry and Mountain Riders

Deep-snow riding changes the priorities. Weight and a narrow profile matter more than raw capacity, because a big boxy bag on the tunnel makes a sled harder to throw on its side and catches snow on every sidehill. The Deep Snow line is built for Summit and Freeride riders who carry a shovel, probe and avalanche gear.

Ski-Doo LinQ Deep Snow Expandable Bag (8.5–20 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ 20 L (5.3 US Gal) Deep Snow Expandable Bag (860202878) expands from 8.5 L to 20 L. Ride with it zipped down when you just need a shovel and a snack, and open it up on days when you're carrying extra layers or gear for a friend. It's the most flexible deep-snow bag we carry.

Ski-Doo LinQ Deep Snow PRO Lightweight Bag (20 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ 5.3 US Gal (20 L) Deep Snow PRO Lightweight Bag (860202620) is built to save weight and mounts using a single set of LinQ fasteners, which leaves more of your tunnel free for other accessories. Pick this one if you count every pound on a mountain sled.

Ski-Doo LinQ Removable Snowflap

Not a bag, but it lives in the same LinQ ecosystem and deep-snow riders ask about it constantly. The Ski-Doo LinQ Removable Snowflap comes off in seconds for unrestricted fun in deep powder, then goes back on when you return to the trail. On trails, the snowflap helps keep snow and debris off the rider behind you.

Seat Bags, Saddlebags and Two-Up Storage

If you ride with a passenger or tour with a 1+1 seat, the top of the tunnel is already spoken for. That's where seat bags and saddlebags earn their keep. You can see every passenger seat and backrest option in our Ski-Doo seats and backrests collection.

Ski-Doo LinQ Trail Seat Bag (11 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ 11 L (2.9 US Gal) Trail Seat Bag (860201275) is the quick-grab bag: sunglasses, a buff, a trail permit, lip balm, a phone. It sits right behind you so you don't have to get off the sled to reach it. A lot of our customers run one of these alongside a bigger tunnel bag.

Ski-Doo LinQ Saddlebags (23 L)

The Ski-Doo LinQ 6 US Gal (23 L) Saddlebags (860202621) come as a pair that hang on both sides of the tunnel. Saddlebags keep weight low and centred and leave the top of the tunnel open for a passenger or a fuel caddy. They're water-resistant with easy access, and they're the best option for two-up touring.

Ski-Doo LinQ Lightweight 1 + 1 Rack

The Ski-Doo LinQ Lightweight 1 + 1 Rack (860202414) is a must if you plan to run the LinQ Passenger Seat – Sport, and it looks clean with or without the seat installed. Ride solo with a bag on the rack midweek, then add the passenger seat for the weekend.

Rigid LinQ Boxes and Coolers for Ice Fishing and Utility Riders

Soft bags are great for clothing. For auger bits, tip-ups, tools, bait and anything you don't want crushed, a rigid box is better. Ice anglers heading out on Lake Simcoe, the Bay of Quinte or Lake of the Woods get the most out of this section.

BRP LinQ Modular Cargo Boxes (10 L, 20 L and 30 L)

The BRP / Can-Am LinQ Modular Cargo Boxes come in 10 L, 20 L and 30 L sizes with heavy-duty construction and a weather-resistant sealed lid. They're multi-product fitment, so the same box moves from your Ski-Doo in February to your Can-Am Outlander in September. The 20 L size is the sweet spot for most riders.

The BRP Sea-Doo Ski-Doo Can-Am LinQ 4.2 US Gal (16 L) Rigid Cooler (219400964) has premium foam insulation and mounts on any 16-inch LinQ mounting base. On an ice-fishing day it keeps lunch and drinks from freezing solid, and in summer it moves to your Sea-Doo or Can-Am to do the opposite job.

LinQ Roll-Top Bag and Urban Bag (40 L)

When you need volume, the 40 L bags are the answer. Both are multi-product fitment and work well on utility sleds and for hauling camp gear.

Small Heated Bags That Keep Essentials Warm

Cold kills phone batteries, and a dead phone on a northern Ontario trail is a real problem. Ski-Doo's 3W heated bags plug into your sled's power and keep small essentials warm.

Ski-Doo 3W Heated Riser Block Bags

The Ski-Doo 3W Heated Short Riser Block Bag (860201550) and 3W Heated Long Riser Block Bag (860201564) wrap around the steering riser block with two pockets, putting your phone and a snack right in front of you. Choose short or long to match your riser height.

LinQ Fitment: Will a LinQ Bag Fit My Sled?

Most riders who think they can't run LinQ actually can, with the right base, shim or rack. Here's the plain-English version:

  • Your sled has LinQ anchor points but no cargo bases: the Ski-Doo LinQ Base Installation Kit (860201806) includes two Cargo LinQ bases and hardware compatible with any LinQ accessory.
  • You own a REV-XS, REV-XM, REV-XP or XU Tundra: the Ski-Doo Shims for LinQ Accessories (860201432) give LinQ accessories a proper, secure fit on these models.
  • You have an embossed REV-XU tunnel: the Ski-Doo LinQ Adaptor Plate (860200945) lets you install the LinQ Cargo Base (860201806) on embossed REV-XU tunnels.
  • You ride an older non-LinQ sled or another brand: the Ski-Doo LinQ Universal Rack (860202357) is engineered to fit non-LinQ tunnels so you can install LinQ accessories.

Lock It Down: LinQ Locks

A quick-release bag is quick to release for anyone. If you park outside restaurants, motels or warm-up huts, a LinQ Lock is cheap insurance. The single lock comes with two keys and the two-pack comes with four keys, and both lock most LinQ accessories in place with a corrosion-resistant build and a cover that protects the lock from snow and ice.

Don't Forget Fuel

Storage and range go together. If your route has long gaps between gas stations, read our Ski-Doo fuel caddy buyer's guide to pick the right LinQ 11 L, 14 L or 20 L caddy to run alongside your bag.

Ski-Doo LinQ Bag Prices: What to Budget

Prices change with the season and the exchange rate, so treat these as rough CAD bands:

  • Under $150: heated riser block bags, goggle drying bag, bag heater, LinQ locks, base kits, shims and the universal rack.
  • $150 to $300: the 17 L Sport Bag, 21 L SR Tunnel Bag, 11 L Trail Seat Bag, Deep Snow PRO, Modular Cargo Boxes, Tool Box, Roll-Top Bag and the 1 + 1 Rack.
  • $300 to $500: the 30 L Trail Pro Bag, 26 L Slim Waterproof Tunnel Bag, Deep Snow Expandable Bag, 23 L Saddlebags, 40 L Urban Bag and the 16 L Rigid Cooler.

A complete trail setup (a tunnel bag, a seat bag and a lock) typically lands between $500 and $750, and with Shop Pay Installments, PayPal or Affirm at checkout you can spread that out before the season starts.

Quick Picks: Which LinQ Bag Is Right for You?

  • Weekend trail rider: LinQ Trail Pro Bag (30 L) plus a LinQ Lock.
  • Lake crossings and wet snow: LinQ Slim Waterproof Tunnel Bag (26 L).
  • Own multiple BRP machines: LinQ Sport Bag (17 L) or a Modular Cargo Box.
  • Mountain or backcountry: Deep Snow Expandable or Deep Snow PRO Lightweight.
  • Two-up touring: LinQ Saddlebags (23 L) and the 1 + 1 Rack.
  • Ice fishing: LinQ Tool Box (19 L) and the 16 L Rigid Cooler.
  • Older or non-BRP sled: start with the LinQ Universal Rack.

Get Your Sled Packed Before the First Snowfall

The best time to sort out storage is before the trails open, not in a parking lot in January. Our parts team rides too, and we're happy to confirm fitment from your model, year or VIN before you order. Email estore@energypowersports.ca or call (905) 901-5500, or shop the full Ski-Doo accessories collection. We ship anywhere in Canada from Oakville, Ontario.

Ski-Doo LinQ Bags - FAQs

  • Will Ski-Doo LinQ bags fit my older Ski-Doo or a non-BRP snowmobile?

Usually, yes, with the right adapter. The Ski-Doo LinQ Universal Rack (860202357) lets you mount LinQ accessories on tunnels that don't have LinQ, including other brands. Embossed REV-XU tunnels use the LinQ Adaptor Plate (860200945), and REV-XS, XM, XP and XU Tundra models use the Shims for LinQ Accessories (860201432) for a proper fit.

  • What's the difference between a tunnel bag, a seat bag and saddlebags?

A tunnel bag mounts on the rear tunnel behind the seat and carries the most gear, like the 30 L Ski-Doo LinQ Trail Pro Bag. A seat bag such as the 11 L LinQ Trail Seat Bag sits closer to you for quick-grab items. Saddlebags like the 23 L LinQ Saddlebags hang on both sides of the tunnel, which keeps weight low and leaves the top of the tunnel free.

  • Are Ski-Doo LinQ bags waterproof?

Some are fully waterproof and some are water-resistant. The LinQ Slim Waterproof Tunnel Bag (26 L) and the LinQ Roll-Top Bag (40 L) are built to keep water out, which matters on slushy lake crossings. Most other LinQ bags are water-resistant, so pack electronics and spare gloves in a dry bag or zip-top bag inside.

  • Can I use the same LinQ bag on my Sea-Doo or Can-Am?

Many of them, yes. The LinQ Sport Bag (17 L), Roll-Top Bag (40 L), Urban Bag (40 L), Modular Cargo Boxes and the 16 L Rigid Cooler are multi-product fitment accessories that work across LinQ-equipped Ski-Doo, Can-Am and Sea-Doo models. Snowmobile-specific bags like the Deep Snow and Trail Pro lines are designed for Ski-Doo tunnels.

  • Do LinQ bags come with the mounting hardware?

It varies by bag, so check what's included on each product page before you order. If your sled doesn't already have LinQ cargo bases, the Ski-Doo LinQ Base Installation Kit (860201806) includes two Cargo LinQ bases and the hardware to install them. Replacement LinQ Fasteners (715010798) are sold in pairs if you've lost or broken one.

  • How do I stop someone from taking my LinQ bag at a trail stop?

Add a LinQ Lock. The single LinQ Lock (860201968) comes with two keys, and the two-pack (860202478) comes with four keys. Both lock most LinQ accessories in place, which is worth it when your sled is parked outside a restaurant or warm-up hut on an Ontario trail.

  • What should I carry in my bag for Ontario trail riding?

On OFSC trails, especially in northern Ontario where towns and cell coverage are far apart, carry a spare drive belt, a tow strap, a basic tool kit, a first-aid kit, a headlamp, spare gloves and a second pair of goggles. A Ski-Doo Goggle Drying Bag keeps your spare lens clear, and the Ski-Doo 3W Heater for Bags helps keep your phone battery from dying in the cold. Pair your bag with a LinQ fuel caddy if your route has long gaps between fuel stops.

  • Can you ship LinQ bags anywhere in Canada, and do you offer financing?

Yes. Energy Powersports ships Ski-Doo LinQ bags, boxes and hardware anywhere in Canada from our store in Oakville, Ontario. At checkout you can pay over time with Shop Pay Installments, PayPal or Affirm, which makes it easier to kit out your sled before the first snowfall.

  • How can I confirm which LinQ bag fits my Ski-Doo?

Send us your model, year and VIN and the Energy Powersports parts team will confirm the right LinQ bag, bases, shims or adapter for your sled before you order. Email estore@energypowersports.ca or call (905) 901-5500 and we'll get you sorted before the trails open.
