The K&N 99-0516 Air Filter Oil is a 12.25 oz. aerosol spray can of K&N's red air filter oil. It is one of the easiest ways to re-oil a K&N cotton air filter because the aerosol spray delivers a fast, even coat across the pleats, making it ideal for quick service at home or in the shop.
K&N Air Filter Oil is the only oil specially formulated to work in combination with the cotton fabric in K&N air filter elements, providing a superior air filtration system. When used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats, where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric to trap dirt and contaminants. Saturation is maintained until the element is cleaned with K&N Power Kleen Air Filter Cleaner, then simply re-oil and reinstall.
