Pre-drain cooling system cleaner for cars, motorcycles and powersports — treats up to 10 L, 300 ml
Motul Radiator Clean is a cleaning additive you add to your coolant before a coolant change. It works through the entire cooling circuit, not just the radiator, loosening deposits, scale and sludge so they drain out with the old coolant. Your fresh coolant then goes into a clean system for better heat transfer and cooler running.
It's suitable for all liquid-cooled, closed cooling systems on gasoline and diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with or without a catalytic converter. Lubricating components protect the cooling system during the cleaning process.
Features:
- Cleans the complete cooling circuit, not only the radiator
- Dissolves and removes scale and radiator sludge
- Improves the performance of valves, thermostats and water pumps
- Improves heating and cooling performance and helps lower engine temperature
- Lubricates the system during cleaning
- Increases cooling system reliability and extends component life
- One can treats cooling systems up to 10 L
How to Use:
- With the engine cool, add Radiator Clean to the existing coolant before draining
- Set heater controls to maximum heat (cars)
- Let the engine idle for about 30 minutes
- Drain the system completely and flush with clean water
- Refill with new coolant according to your manufacturer's instructions
- For heavily contaminated systems, a second treatment can be done
