Qualipieces RollerSki Auto-Retractable Wheels – Yamaha Snowmobiles

The Qualipieces RollerSki Auto-Retractable Wheels for Yamaha, Y-4000 to Y-4009, are a genuine Qualipieces wheel system for nine Yamaha ski models, including the Apex, Tuner, Mountain and Stryke skis. They are one of the best snowmobile wheel kits because they attach to the ski axle, so the snowmobile's weight sits on the wheels instead of loading and deforming the skis, runners and carbides.

Ride safely when the trail meets little or no snow. The RollerSki self-retracting wheel system is designed for the off-trail travel that is an inevitable part of snowmobiling. Ride safely on the road or shoulder, at the hotel or gas station and on any other snowless surface while protecting your carbides and skis. The RollerSki is also an indispensable tool for moving your snowmobile on and off the trailer and for protecting the floor of your garage or the pavement in your driveway.

Features:

• Simple installation without specialized tools
• Resists frost
• No welding
• Attached via the axle
• High quality multi-purpose product
• Equipped with components that are corrosion resistant
• Retracts automatically on contact with snow

Fitment:

Each RollerSki is designed for one specific ski model. Choose the part number that matches the skis on your snowmobile:

• Yamaha plastic ski (8EX-23711-00-BK): Y-4000
• Yamaha ski with aluminium saddle (8EN-F3711-00-00): Y-4001
• Yamaha Apex 1 ski (2011 EPS): Y-4003
• Yamaha Tuner 1 ski / Apex 2 ski: Y-4004
• Yamaha Tuner 2 ski: Y-4005
• Yamaha ski 8AC-F3711-00-BK (2012+): Y-4006
• Yamaha Tuner 3 ski (Viper): Y-4007
• Yamaha Mountain ski (2016+): Y-4008
• Yamaha Stryke ski: Y-4009

Y-4004 on 2014 and newer skis requires a ski modification using drill guide K02-9901 (sold separately). The modification is not needed on 2013 and older skis.

Qualipieces does not recommend installing a RollerSki on a ski model it is not designed for.

Easy to Deploy and Auto-Retracting

Deploying the wheels is a simple task. With your foot, bring the wheel down to the ground, then push backwards (towards the rear of the vehicle) to engage the wheel in place. Use your hand on the ski loop for balance and to slightly lift the ski as you push backwards on the wheel. Within seconds, both wheels can be deployed and you can continue your ride on the snowless surface. Upon contact with snow, they retract automatically.

No Pressure on the Snowmobile's Skis

Unlike other snowmobile wheels on the market, the RollerSki is attached to the axle. The weight of the snowmobile, centred on the RollerSki when the wheels are engaged, avoids an overload and possible deformation of the skis, the runners and the carbides. You can install your RollerSki without worrying about damaging other parts on your snowmobile.

High Quality Materials for Superior Durability

Machined parts, superior materials and a protected spring give you years of use, winter after winter, in even the worst conditions. Designed and assembled in Quebec, the RollerSki has proven its durability year after year in the most extreme Canadian winter conditions.

Replacement Parts
